The biggest difference is the up front cost. The subscription plan plan eliminates the barrier of entry with an affordable monthly payment, and includes services such as unlimited edits out of the box. The lump sum gets that out of the way with a one time payment, and can potentially save money in the long run.
If you plan on keeping the website for a long time and don't need frequent updates, the lump sum is probably the better option. If you want to keep your initial costs low and want the flexibility to make changes as your business evolves, the subscription is likely the way to go.The subscription plan is a minimum of 12 months, after which it becomes month to month. You can end the contract without a cancellation fee anytime after the initial 12 months. If you cancel, the website code returns to us (otherwise everyone would just do that and we'd be out of business!).
Our job is to prove in those first 12 months that the value we add to your business is worth so much more than what the subscription costs, that keeping us on is a no-brainer.Yes! We offer $50 a month subscription add on for unlimited edits and support. These are done with a 12 month minimum commitment as well.
If you cancel before the 12 months, you owe the full cost of what the site would normally cost ($3100) minus whatever you already paid. We prioritize long term relationships with our clients. And we want our clients to share the same philosophy.
You will always own your domain, we would never hold it hostage! We handle domain renewal payments and maintenance as part of our service, but the domain is always in your name.
Only one time, not every month. That would be crazy! For example, if you want 3 additional pages to bring the total to 8, it's a one time fee of $300. If you wish, we can have a professional copywriter create the content for your pages for as an add on service.
With either lump sum or subscription, if we cannot design something you are 100% happy with and no longer want to move forward, then we will refund whatever you paid to get started. Once the design is approved and development begins, there are no refunds unless at our discression.
We generally finish a website from start to finish within 2-4 weeks, depending on the size of the website, how soon clients respond to our content and image requests, and the availability of our designers and developers.
Unfortunately no, otherwise everyone would do that and we would go out of business! But you do keep your domain and brand assets.
Nope! Everything we make is built with custom hand written code. No page builders here. That is what separates us from the others - we put the time and effort to do things differently and it shows in our work and our clients online presence after launch.
Security, load times, maintainability, lower costs, easier to customize, less bloat because we don't need plugins for everything, we never need to update anything like you need to constantly update your Wordpress version otherwise you get hacked and your site redirects to a Chinese gambling site, and we're more responsive. To go into more detail about security, our custom coded sites have no databases or anything so there's nothing to hack. Our sites are more secure without needing constant updates to be on top of or constant attacks from online hackers trying to barge in. Theres nowhere for them to barge into on our sites no matter how hard they try.

Back in the early settlement days, our area was known as Nutfield due to the abundance of nut-bearing trees. Later on it would be split into the towns that are present today, but Nutfield is still remembered as part of our history. When I was thinking of a name for my agency, I wanted something that spoke to community and growth, and thus Nutfield Digital was born.
Also my kids love acorns.Absolutely we do. And our motivation isn't hard to understand. One month before my twin's first birthday, my daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma, a devastating pediatric cancer. After months of intense treatment, she is now a thriving survivor.
The experience profoundly impacted me and our family, inspiring us to give back. So are committed to donating a portion of our profits to pediatric cancer research, aiming to support other families facing similar challenges and contribute to advancements in treatment and care. The only reason we don't disclose the exact percentage is that it would only take some simple math to make our private financials not so private. But there is a set percentage. We will publically disclose the flat totals for each event and at the end of each year. Our next big planned event will be the Jimmy Fund Walk in October 2026.
