An Ecommerce Startup With a Lot of Celtic Love
Kilt & Clover is a new online storefront for Celtic themed gifts, inspired by the owner's love and exploration of their family's Irish background. Their selection includes everything from official Guinness merchandise to Highland themed children's books, with their specialty being hand curated and themed gift boxes for every occasion.
They needed an ecommerce website could do more than showcase their products, it needed to tell their story. We also wanted to get it off and running quickly, affordibly, and be ready to grow as the business does. And they wanted an ecommerce solution that could be used to sell in-person at local events as well as online. To best serve all these, we coupled a content rich homepage with a Square storefront.
We helped get their brand identity off the ground with a new logo that can be adapted for a variety of sizes and uses. From there the rest of the homepage design came together, striking a balance between promotion and visual storytelling.
The homepage was hand coded and mobile optimized to ensure lightning fast load times even with image rich content, with a matching storefront. Lastly the site was indexed on Google Search Console and a Google Business Profile created to help jump start the growth of their page ranking.
